Why I love UK? Transports and Related Services

Take a look here: the Transport of London website. Well organized, rich, usefull. Every information users needs, also with other services like RSS News about “delays”, “tube enhancements”, “contest and festive related informations and suggestions”. Besides, Transport system itself is powerfull, effective and “right”: English people speaks about a “not enought services, so poor transport system”. They are accustomed to something richer than me. Why I love UK?

It’s not easy to explain… and I can’t synthetize my motivations in a couple of words. Hence, I think it’s a good idea to list, in a new series of post, the single facts one bye one. I’m from Italy and the needs of service and a bit of civilization is the main matter for me. I’m trying to change my life. I’m trying to come to live in the oldest “Monarchy” in the world.

Get the most out of ZSH

Taking a walk for one of my preferred blogs I found an interesting article from IBM DeveloperWorks: “Get the most out of zsh”. I did’t know this shell until now and, reading the article, I was convinced to give it a try. icebook# sudo apt-get install zsh Take a look at it. Is the Bash era over? Looking for direct links? Official homepage of the ZSH. An interesting mirror on SunSite.
