Google Desktop on (My) Mac

I tried it from the first release, but I was disappointed because of the “heavyness” of the indexing process: all my apps seems to be like “yawning” at every interaction I did. But because I like Google (yes, I said! I like it!) I thought “why don’t give to it another chance?”. I read a post on the Official Google Mac Blog about the latest release (1.1.0.520 (8/31/2007)) and I simply installed it (not a classical Mac OS X installer, but we can forgive this
). ...

I love Mountain Bikes

I went inside the store (www.halfords.com) to choose a Town&Trial Bike (also known as Touring Byke): just because I have to go around “a city”. But when I saw her I forgot about any “stupid-little-tiny-weels-bike” and just loved her at first sight! Apollo FS.26 SE Mens 20" Full Suspension Mountain Bike I’ll go to bring her with me on Sunday: we will go around London just for fun. I hope we will stay together forever. And that she will like my weight. And

e tu sei dove sei. Tu sei chi sei. Tu sei CON chi sei. ...

iSync and SonyEricsson Symbian/UIQ 3.0 finally speaking

Thanks God, now I can [en:iSync]!!! As someone probably remember, I switched from an [en:Nokia E70] to a [en:Sony Ericsson W950i]. In the beginning, it was not possible to synchronize my [en:iBook] with my new smarth-phone because of a “strange” implementation of the [en:SyncML] protocol on Sony Ericsson/UIQ 3.0 phones. A lot of people has tried to figure out how to do it (Google for it), failing! But now [en:Sony_Ericsson] has finally released the relative plugins: ...

The Dead Spinal Cord

> Title: Bella Ciao Singers: Modena City Ramblers A friend of mine, one that I’d have never expected something like that, has sent to me this email: I heard this song by mistake and i loved the music if you have time and if it is not ball breaking i want to ask you to translate it for me [
] And then I replied: You choosen probably the “spinal cord” of the Italy. The FORGOTTEN spinal cord. What has joined us against Fascists + Nazists during the Second World War. The origin is not sure, but it comes from the Partigians, people in the middle-north of Italy that has fightened (and death) for the Freedom against Mussolini and his stupid idea of joining Nazists. Today, in every young knows it
but only very old man REALLY UNDERSTAND what it means. Not because of the words (they are few and simple) but because of the “carried message”, the “payload” of this song. Anyway, you can find a lot of translations here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bella_ciao Thanks for remembering me the “good part” of my beautiful country. ...

50 days in the Big City

When I began this newexperience, during the BootCamp, a Teacher/Employee of Symbian, L.Simpson (yep, “Simpson” :-D ) said: Wellcome to the Big City!!! He was referring to the amount of code [en:Symbian OS] is made of. But I think it can be applied to everything here. The feeling of being part of something big. It is Frightful
but Fascinating and Stimulanting too. Actually, I’m (and I’ll be for a lot) “no one” here
but I see a lot of young guys like me doing important things. And this is the most stimulating thing: I Could! ...

PySync Google Group

Hi Guys. I’m part of a very little Gooooogle Group (only 5 members) discussing about an interesting project, PySync. I’ll not go in details (everything is in the “3” discussions inside the group), but some interesting ideas are “popping-out”. Share if you have something to.
