H.264 conquers Flash

Adobe has released a beta version of an update for Flash 9. Codename “Moviestar”. It comes with a very important features: support fo [en:H.264]. This update includes new features, enhancements and bug fixes for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux versions of Flash Player 9, including: Support for H.264 video and HE-AAC audio codecs (new Aug. 21). Google London Open Source Jam
