I love Google news: I think it’s a very intelligent and powerfull system to aggregate news. I use it every day to see informations about politics and tech. I hope that GNews continues on that way: multi-sourced news helps me to understand and hear every side of anything. Thanks Big G.

Tesina sulle VLAN - 01

Per l’esame di “Sistemi per l’elaborazione dell’informazione: Reti” (anche detto molto semplicemente “Reti”) mi é stata assegnata la stesura di una tesina da x pagine, con 10 < x < 20 pagine. L’argomento? VLAN. Ho inziato da 2 giorni circa la stesura: quell che é certo, é che sarà difficile tenersi sotto le 20 pagine. Firefox, Thunderbird and Camino: first Universal Binary build

Developers of Firefox, Thunderbird and Camino are working on a Universal Binary release: they have promised a official release in march. By now, here are sufficiently stable releases. elilo: boot on EFI machine

Linux, as we can expect from the linux-comunity, are ready for the EFI system that will substitute the old BIOS system on our (x86) machine. EFI is the boot-system used on the new MacIntel machine, presented from Apple at Jan 10. What it means? It means that we can install and run on EFI-enabled machine every Operating System, also which that does not “understand” EFI (WinXP is the biggest example). Play WinMediaFiles in QT

Microsoft, because of the STOP to development of Windows Media Player for MacOSX, make a page on our site where we can download a nice thing: a plugin for QuickTime aims to view Windows Media Files. Seems to be a good product: I will update you soon. The plugin is Flip4Mac. The company behind this piece of code is Telestream, that sell other plugins to import/edit WMF. I have a question: M$ is the richest company in the World and… needs third-part plugin to make our file-formats viewable on MacOSX? It’s a Joke? :| ( :lol: )
